Shed control tips

As a dog walker/ pet sitter and I am all too familiar with the pets that shed. Here are a few tips to help keep you and your home a little more pet hair free.

Feeding
1. Feeding a high quality diet to your pets tends to help in reducing shedding.
There are food additives that you can buy, but I am not a big fan of the adding things to their food  -only because I havent heard of many people having had luck with them

Grooming
1. Brush your dog daily - there are many types of brushes out there - general types of grooming brush and undercoat brushes. You can get dog brushes online or at any local pet stores, even Walmart. Use the rake type brush to remove the super soft undercoat. Most dogs enjoy brushing. My dog Mason loves it!

Brushing is the most effective way to remove hair on a daily basis. I also reccomend keeping a few pet hair (lint) removers on hand! I just had to get two new ones ~ my Mason is big shedder too!

Thank You Diane- I can't say THANK YOU enough. It was such a treat to receive the box of goodies. Ask someone close to you to give youa great big hug for me.
